  • Replacement Motor Recommendation for Landing Gear of 2011 Keystone Raptor with # 1-065-041012-01
  • Based on the part numbers you listed to replace the motor on your landing gear you can use part # LG-196308. Replacing the gearbox would be optional and for that you can use part # LG-179015. There are few different options that would fit, but the motor I mentioned has the highest capacity of the available options.

  • Can Slide Topper Fit Right Next to Awning on RV
  • We've had this question before and when asked about this Solera has informed us that in order for a slide topper to fit with an awning there needs to be at least 7 inches between the awning and the slide out. If you can let me know the width of your slide out I can determine what slide toppers would fit.

  • Landing Gear Gear Box and Motor Replacement for 2011 Keystone Cougar Fifth Wheel

  • 5th Airborne Pin Box Recommendation for Trailer with 15.5k GVWR and Lippert 1621 Pin Box
  • Pin boxes with higher weight capacities generally are more expensive so the idea with offering a lower capacity option is to save some money while still offering a fit that will work great. If you go with an overkill pin box you really wouldn't gain anything but you also wouldn't be giving up anything except for a little more cost. Since your trailer has a Lippert 1621 pin box and a GVWR of 15.5k the 5th Airborne you'd want is the part # 5AB-E1621-16K which has a 16k capacity. As long...

  • Replacing Electric Drum Brakes With Electric Over Hydraulic Disc Brakes On A 2017 Keystone Avalanche
  • The information I could find about your 2017 Keystone Avalanche was fairly limited, it does look like 7,000 pound axles were used. Using that information, I do have a full parts list with quantities listed below and this is a pretty common upgrade, so it is definitely possible. However, I definitely recommend contacting Keystone with the trailer's VIN to double check that I am correct about said capacity. Though not necessarily a plug and play system, as there will not be, this is pretty...

  • Why Would Installing New Trailer Brakes Require More Brake Controller Voltage
  • Since the trailer brake assemblies you bought and installed part # AKEBRK-7-SA are self-adjusting what you'll need to do is just drive on them for a while and they'll tension themselves to the correct amount so that you don't need so much brake controller gain/voltage. You'll probably notice the brakes feeling more and more aggresive and will need to begin backing the voltage down slowly.

  • Recommendation for Self Adjusting Brakes For 2014 Keystone Cougar 5,200-lbs Axle
  • Based on your information, I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit, Item # AKEBRK-7-SA. These self adjusting driver's-side and passenger's-side brakes are 12 inches x 2 inches. They are for 5,200-lbs to 7,000-lbs axles and fit standard hub-and-drum assemblies including Dexter, Lippert, and AL-KO. I have also attached links to our brake department, to additional information, and videos to assist you with your project.

  • Recommended Tire Cover for 235/55R16 Tires on a 2019 Keystone Avalanche 383FL
  • I recommend going with Adco Tyre Gard covers that fit dual axles because they have proven to be some of the best tire covers out there and the dual axle cover design looks much cleaner than individual covers. For your 235/55R16 tires I recommend the covers that fit 27" - 29" tires which come in the following colors: White - # 290-3923 Diamond Plate - # 290-3723 Black - # 290-3933 Camo - # 290-3623 I have attached a review video for you to check out. You just need some bungee cords like...

  • How To Use A Swivel Wheel Trailer on a 5th Wheel Trailer
  • I do have everything you need to use a swivel wheel trailer on your 5th wheel trailer but we do not carry them nor do we have anything similar therefore you will need to source the trailer elsewhere. In order to use a swivel wheel trailer to haul your golf cart on a 5th wheel trailer you are going to need to install a trailer hitch as well as a 4-way trailer connector. The best trailer hitch we have for you is the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13701 which fits trailers...

  • 5th Wheel Trailer Nose Sits Higher and Hitch/Pin Box Are Fully Adjusted
  • The issue you are having with the trailer nose sitting higher and no further adjustments can be made to the pin box or hitch is pretty common nowadays since trucks continue to get taller and taller. The solution for this though is pretty simple as all you need to do is lift the trailer. There aren't a whole lot of options for this but the Lippert Components Tandem Axle Lift Kit part # RR23QX is what I recommend as it provides the smallest amount of lift. This kit will get you setup and...
